A volunteer writes:" I saw Giraffe being brought to the care center. Special car service by the police who was marveling at his beauty and good behavior. I said to myself, "What a stunning boy!" Long legs, long neck and those spotted ears! Giraffe is all excited to go out and be in company. He is young and full of energy but surprisingly walks quite nicely on the leash, eliminating as we leave the care center. Giraffe sniffs the air and the ground, tail up and wagging. He is a hound all right. He does not go after the birds although he is well aware of them. I do not know if he would make a good hunter. Just as well, of course...Giraffe likes to be free in the yard. He seems all happy to meet other dogs, play bows to ALL of them even if he got a little scared at some point by two puppies making a lot of noise. Giraffe is an elegant, healthy looking and well groomed youngster. He is quite clumsy though and never can find the ball when I throw it to him, he will need training in that department. He is so sociable and friendly. It will be a piece of cake to teach him. Gorgeous Giraffe is at the Manhattan Care Center. Come and meet our lovely pup and make him your forever best friend" . https://facebook/photo.php?fbid=626888887323994&set=a.611290788883804.1073741851.152876678058553&type=3&theater TO BE DESTROYED - 06/21/13 Manhattan Center -P My name is GIRAFFE.
