A volunteer writes: Like her namesake, Anne Hathaway knows how to play to the camera. She poses beautifully for pictures in her gorgeous coco color coat, her legs are long and elegant, and her body slender (she could stand to gain a couple of pounds). Anne has clearly been someones companion, her nails are trimmed, her leash manners are lovely, shes likely housetrained and shes affectionate and sweet. She is a pleasure to spend time with in the park, taking the time to pose for some pictures before we headed back. She sits when asked to, enjoys treats which she takes gently, and shes an all around gentle unassuming little girl. Anne sits in the sidesaddle way of puppies and its so cute! She put her head in my lap for some cuddling, as her tail wagged gently in bliss. I was also the happy recipient of some stand up hugs and kisses which she gives very gently. Off leash in the backyard she wasnt interested in playing ball, but simply sat by my side, leaning in for some petting. She pulls towards other dogs and may need some training in proper how do you do manners as she gets quite excited as others approach. A nother volunteer writes: I think I need to go to photography classes as I simply cannot capture how stunning our Anne is......she is classically beautiful and my pictures just dont show it. Shes a great dog, happiest being close to her person and when I let her off leash in the backyard she simply stayed by my side, walking along with me. She would occasionally wander off for a moment to explore, but her happiest moments are with her person. When I sat down she snuggled near me, again, happiest to be close to her person.
