A volunteer writes: One learns everyday. I did not know what turducken meant until I met this beautiful dog and read that silly name on her kennel card. TD is no turkey and even less a stuffed one. She is young, lively, energetic, playful , sociable and friendly. Definitively no limp bird.....TD is very welcoming in her kennel and eager to stretch her legs and be in company. She is leashed in no time and runs to the yard where she does her business at once. TD is a big girl, healthy looking , feminine and beautiful in her well groomed Oreo coat that feels like silk. She was probably a mother not that long ago. She is quite enthusiastic meeting and relating to people and dogs alike. She likes to jump, hug and kiss. She is quite affectionate and demonstrative in her feelings.She playbows to other pooches through the fence. TD sits on command and for treats. She is a bit impulsive and excited when it comes to toys, balls and treats. She wants it now. She so love to play. Turducken is an attractive young female, lively, playful and friendly who would do well with an active owner or family. She needs a little bit of training to tame her genuine enthusiasm and she will be good to go. Turducken is at the Manhattan Care Center, hoping to meet you soon.
