A volunteer writes: Slater reminds me of my favorite cookie - a black and white! As I approached his kennel he got wiggly all over, excited to be going out. As soon as we were out the door he went potty, indicating hes likely housetrained. We went into a pen in the backyard and Slater was fascinated by all the smells and indications of the dogs there before him. His nose to the ground, he explored the pen, not interested in treats or a tossed tennis ball. Slater greets other dogs with a high tail and an excited bark, pulling towards them so should be the only dog in his new home. Hes a high energy guy who would love to find an active family with energy to match his own.
