A volunteer writes (as told by Thor): Hello everyone! My name is Thor and I am so happy to have this chance to talk to you. Im in this place, lots of dogs, noise and activity, and Im really looking for my own home and family. Everyone tells me that Im really good looking in my tan and white coat and that my amber eyes are just a few shades lighter than the amber color in my coat. Im a bit too thin, so would really appreciate a home where Ill get well fed and gain a couple of pounds. I go as soon as Im outside, so they think Im housetrained (whatever that means, but its a good thing I think). I sit when Im asked to and love treats. Ive got alot of energy, so really need a home thats active and does fun outdoorsy things. I sometimes bite up on the leash to play, and I know thats not good because my friend, Volunteer, says drop it and tries to distract me. It works actually and then Im good for a while but get excited again. I guess I will need some practice so I wont do that. I get very excited when I see other dogs, and bark and pull towards them. I think I probably also need some work on that. I like to chase a tennis ball, bat it around, and chomp on it a bit, and then happily run after another one. So, if you are willing to work with me a little bit, Im ready to come home with you. I really do need an active home, and because I like treats so much I promise Ill be a fast learner with whatever you want to teach me. Im here, Im waiting, and my name is Thor.
