A warm and wonderful person we meet,as we were leaving the Turkish National Day event,at the Dusit Thani Hotel,was Chiangrai-based artist Kittisak Butdeewong,who had on display many delicate but dynamic water colour paintings of his trip to Turkey,including Istanbul,Cappadocia etc. He said he went with his students just to paint the country-and would love to go again! The artist relishes travelling, and painting the countries of his travel. He particularly remembers his trip to Kashmir in India, about which he painted a lot. Hes now keen to go to other parts of India. I told him that would take a lot of travel,indeed.
