A warm front will move into southwest Kansas today. Temperatures will climb back into the 90s across all of western Kansas with highs near 100 degrees possible south of this warm front. There will also be a chance for afternoon thunderstorms, mainly near and north of the warm front. Thunderstorms are then expected to become more numerous overnight with some of these storms late today and overnight producing periods of heavy rain, hail and strong damaging winds.
