A warm welcome to our latest project: Wild & Free - Animal - TopicsExpress

A warm welcome to our latest project: Wild & Free - Animal Rehabilitation and Release. Geraldine Morelli, Founder at Wild & Free, is a passionate and dedicated animal conservationist. Over the past eight years she has volunteered at Riverside Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre (RWRC) in South Africa to care for primates. She has seen tiny, weak and traumatised orphan baby monkeys become strong, healthy, confident young males and females integrated in a troop and be released to their native habitat. This is because of the amazing work of organisations like RWRC. Geraldine continues to volunteer at RWRC every year to help first hand at the centre and will visit other rehabilitation centres in the future as Wild & Free grows, so we can help more species. Her next big project is to help fund the biggest ever release of baboons back into the wilds of South Africa from Riverside Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre (RWRC). This will free 80 baboons in total! Her target is to raise £6,000 (and hopefully more!) to support RWRC. Centres like RWRC receive no funding or financial support from their government and so are entirely dependent on donations and contributions from individuals and charities like Wild & Free to survive and carry out their amazing work. Every pound that we fund and overfund will go directly to RWRC and this project, and Wild & Free is a registered charity so you can select Gift Aid with your donation.
