A warning to United States of America to Stop Supporting Salva Kirr’s government or vanish any future relation. For immediate Release A call from the Nuer Community and the South Sudanese communities in the United States of America and Canada Date: January 26, 2015 The future relation between the United State of America and South Sudan is in a deep hole and is in ideological war. A leak from the White House revealed that the U.S. National Security Advisor, Sudan Rice believes, that it “would undermine a democratically-elected government’s ability” referering to Salva Kirr government “to defend itself against an insurgency led by Kiir’s former vice president, Riek Machar, if the international community act against Salva Kirr and “preferred fewest civilian dead than losing Salva Kirr” Shortly when I read the news, I run around calling people to prissily understand about who is Susan Rice is. Well, it did not take me more than two hours to find out that she is a raped survivor who doesn’t have children of her own. Now the entire South Sudanese communities understand that the U.S. National Security Advisor Sudan Rice has no children of her own; she has no future, and would see “children as the obstacle and if across her face would rather leave them all dead and chest an opportunities” well, we the South Sudanese like children, we love our lands and we would rather see a bright future for them. I wish to remind the United of America that in 1961, in his farewell speech/addressed, Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower said that “Throughout Americas adventure in free government, our basic purposes have been to keep the peace; to foster progress in human achievement, and to enhance liberty, dignity and integrity among people and among nations. To strive for less would be unworthy of a free and religious people. Any failure traceable to arrogance or our lack of comprehension or readiness to sacrifice would inflict upon us grievous hurt both at home and abroad.” He said Today with grave sadness, hopelessness from Nuer community and the South Sudanese communities and a lack of humanity from U.S National Security Advisor Susan Rice, it is sad to learned “the U.S. National Security Advisor and a long-standing champion of South Sudan, has for months resisted appeals from key allies, including Britain and France” to help the people of South Sudan to simply admit that Salva Kirr kills our people and the future of our country. According to Foreign Policy, Rice believes, that it “would undermine a democratically-elected government’s ability to defend itself against an insurgency led by Kiir’s former vice president, Riek Machar”. Susan Rice also “is concerned that an army embargo against Salva Kirr who killed our people “would be ineffective because South Sudan’s neighbor and military ally, Uganda, would not enforce it” It’s also sad to learn that even the United Nation wants this senseless war to come and end. One diplomat admitted to say that “I understand that the blockage came from NSC,” the U.N. Security Council diplomat, referring to the White House National Security Council. “Both Power and Kerry are much more open to sanctions, possibly even including an arms embargo, than the NSC. We have the sense here in New York that they wanted to move forward but they were hampered by Washington.” Therefore, I want to conclude by referring back to President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s warning that “Progress toward these noble goals is persistently threatened by the conflict now engulfing the world. It commands our whole attention, absorbs our very beings. We face a hostile ideology -- global in scope, atheistic in character, ruthless in purpose, and insidious in method. Unhappily the danger is poses promises to be of indefinite duration” he said and “Another factor in maintaining balance involves the element of time. As we peer into societys future, we -- you and I, and our government -- must avoid the impulse to live only for today, plundering, for our own ease and convenience, the precious resources of tomorrow. We cannot mortgage the material assets of our grandchildren without risking the loss also of their political and spiritual heritage. We want democracy to survive for all generations to come, not to become the insolvent phantom of tomorrow.” The chance for the future relationship between the United State of America and South Sudan is in limbo Gatluke Chuol Reat Out-going President of Nuer Community of North America and can be reach at l.chuol@yahoo
