A week ago this evening I lost my darling John. His passing has left a huge void in our familys world. Team Meteyard went from a team of four to three in an instant. Only after he passed did I realise that many people were talking about how last Sunday was John 3:16 day. For those of you who dont understand what that means, its a Bible reference. The verse is : For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John loved that verse and lived his life in expectation of that eternal life and it brings us enormous comfort to know that we will see him again one day. We will forever remember the date of Johns passing as John 3:16.
