A well-dressed, elderly white-haired lady was sitting on a bench waiting for someone to return. A teenager with rings, tattoos and slouchy and dirty clothing sat down on the bench with the lady and she continued to talk loud on her cell-phone. The lady looked at the girl indignately and got up walking away to another bench. I thought to myself, have I ever been guilty of looking down my nose at someone else? Then the thought came, has anyone ever looked down their nose at me? The greater question popped out of my mind, Dont we know we are all people Jesus died for? Dont we know we are not pleasing God when we look down our noses at someone else? Dont we know we are not treating people as Jesus would want us to, to show people the love of God? I must confess that not all the time do I treat people as Jesus would have me treat them. I pray I have never looked down my nose at anyone but at this moment I am not sure I have not been in the shoes of that woman at Wal-mart. Please help us, Father show Your love at all time.
