A while ago in Japan Home Center, I bought 2 mirrors and a universal remote controller. The total price of the items is 264 Pesos. I paid 304 Pesos. The cashier did not give me any change. I said I still have a change of 40 Pesos. The cashier asked her fellow for a calculator. When her fellow said she has none, she asked her 304 - 264 = ? Her fellow replied the answer. The cashier said her apologies for not returning me my change. Instead of my usual intimidating and offensive response, I told her: Ayos lang, mahina rin ako sa math. :) I suffer from dyscalculia. I cannot perform simple mental math operations. Lucky for me, my profession (Medical Technology) allows us to use (scientific) calculators.
