A while back I made a Facebook post about The Blink based on the comment people make when they say Everything can change in The Blink of an eye. The Blink happened over night. My friend, Mickie Coxen Taylor, was killed last night in a car accident leaving behind two sons - Professional Soccer Player, Bryce, and 12-year-old, Garrett, whom we all call G$. No one could ever doubt that Mickie lived her life to the fullest. Whether it was her ability to be the central focus of attention at any gathering, her pride in her little red corvette, her ability to have both men & women look at her shoes & say How do you walk in those things???, her passion for people & her job, or her unwavering love & pride in her sons, it was all reflected in one singular thing....her smile...which is the only thing I see in my mind today. Live Better. Live every second of your life with purpose. Light up a room. Have passion for what you do. Make sure everyone knows whom you love. Make sure those you love know you love them. Allow that picture that people have of you in their minds be a one of joy, laughter, and love. It all changes in The Blink.
