A while back I ordered 2 Frozen fabrics from Keepsake to make pillowcases for my granddaughters who LOVE the movie, and its taking FOREVER to arrive. While visiting one of my favorite quilt shops yesterday, I asked the shop owner if she had Frozen and her response made me very upset with the Disney licensing folks. The shop owner said she agonized about ordering the fabrics when she learned that the license had been given to a company that does not make quilt shop quality fabrics and she did not want to disappoint her loyal customers with inferior fabric. I applaud her decision and reasoning, but am furious with Disney. When I put my heart and soul into making something special for people I love, I want to feel proud of the quality and know that it will wear well and last. Also why is Keepsake charging quilt shop prices for inferior fabric??? Thanks for letting me vent !
