A while back I posted a different late-night Springsteen favorite - The Fever - which is moody and reflective. This is my other late-night go-to Bruce fave. I saw him do it on this same tour in 78 - and this video probably captures what that tour and those performances were like better than any - a joyful, ecstatic, rock-and-roll Dionysian rite. Its incredible. Videos a little primitive. But the audio is awesome. (And yes, Richard E T White that CD of the Winterland concert, is still coming your way, along with copies for Jerry Carniglia, Tony Taccone, and John Taccone, who recorded it off the KSAN live feed - I think were past the statute of limitations now, arent we, John?)
