A whole lot of this could have been entirely avoided if more of us had just chosen to unite with each other and not trust outsiders so much and apply to developing/advancing ourselves more than many of us did. The results have been in for some time now and here we are today collectively world wide. Partially because of this, many (not all) Africans today seek not to be Africans (skin bleaching, hair modifications, valuing the languages and attire of non-Africans, culture, spirituality, etc...) while many (not all) African-Americans or other African-Diasporans are often ashamed of the African sides of their ancestry and wish not to identify with it. Its not too late in every case. Keep on being fools if you want and youll get even more of the results. Apply yourselves in an intelligent timely manner and youll get the beneficial results from that too. Unity, pride, dignity, basic manly self-respect, tactful reason more than passion sometimes -- more of us need to try that more often than we do. Nobodys perfect (surely not myself) and we all make mistakes sometimes, but, there are some basic things than can be avoided if we just try. Even today if Africa unites, Africans can advance quickly -- possibly even to the top of the world to the admiration of all who see it remembering where weve been, where we are now and where we can be collectively if Africans just choose to use the intelligence that they have. Other than that, even the phony friends of Africans will continue to question the collective intelligence of Africans while they exploit rampant African stupidity to the shame of even more future African generations than it already is today.
