A wife ,a sister, a daughter, searching for husband, brother and father. Who will help these unfortunate souls if the person they are looking for has been wrongly abducted by the government itself . Where will they go and how will they recieve justice or is it not their fundamental right to be protected from enforced disappearance ??? Afreen Khan son of Masoom Khan was a property dealer living peacecully along with his wife Aishah and 2 year old daughter Somia. During the military operation of 2010 the people of Swat were told to leave their native land and migrate over night. Afreen too was planning to leave when his home in village woodigram Swat was raided on 1st July 2010, the small family was taken away including the baby girl and wife. Wife and daughter returned after a week but there was no news of Afreen. After 3 months the family found his clue in a secret prison of Mingora Swat. They wrote letters to every possible authority and ran pillar to post but to no avail. Finally they found his name in the internment centers list of Kohat. Last 8 months the wife and a sister who came from UK are trying hard to meet Afreen but there is a complete denial of his presence. A cry for justice , human rights and truth can be heard loud and clear by the suffering family visiting DHR office right now. The question is does the government cares???
