A win for the government. The activist refugee advocates are trying to send we taxpayers broke by instigating court case after court case to try and sabotage our border policies regarding illegal arrivals. Today a Federal court ruled that a child born in Australia to illegal arrivals would not be able to claim refugee status but had the same status as the parents; UMA; Unauthorised Maritime Arrival Refugee advocate lawyer said he will urge the illegal arrival parents to appeal which we will pay the legal fees for of course. In the meantime these advocates are trying to lobby the senate not to pass legislation that will secure tougher laws for illegal arrivals. In the meantime we will take this as a win as there are 100 children born in detention that would be affected by todays ruling.
