A wind advisory is in effect Friday as strong gusts -- including one reported at near 70 mph in the Angeles National Forest north of Los Angeles -- sweep across Southern California. The wind advisory is scheduled to expired at noon, but could be extended. Some of the strongest gusts were reported along the 5 Freeway north of Los Angeles. A 67-mph gust was reported north of Santa Clarita. A gust of 64 mph was reported in nearby Sandberg, about 70 miles north of downtown Los Angeles.
