A wise man asked me if I considered myself to be better than others. I said no, I am not better than anyone. He said "yes you are", I said no, I am not better than anyone else. He said "well you should be". I said what do you mean. He said "are you not better than the murderer, rapist, robber, etc. Not because you choose to be, but because they choose to be less than you". I had never considered this angle, but pray that I never choose to be less.
