A woman is killed and her two young boys are seriously hurt after their SUV lost control and violently flipped along a windy stretch of Rt. 711 in Springfield Township, Fayette County. The car came to a stop after crashing into a utility pole. Investigators say the woman and one of the boys was thrown from the SUV. The other boy was trapped. A man who lives across the street witnessed the crash and began helping the victims. He is a nurse. Both boys were flown to Pittsburgh hospitals. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The fire chief said he believes the victims are from Mill Run. Ill have the very latest on this sad story starting at 5 on Channel 11.
