A woman just contacted me and asked me if I could teach her to have a stronger ego. That cracked me up. I told her that I lived a public life and lost my ego a long time ago. Train with me if thats what you seek! I can teach anyone how to lose their ego! Its simple: if you want to lose your ego fast, and let go of any latent arrogance: live a public life. People will take your ego down so fast your head will spin. Big egos dont survive very long living a public life. I think that most of us public folks are Edgewalkers. Now that I could teach! We are connectors. We are people who walk between worlds and have the ability to build bridges between different worldviews. Edgewalkers are much more oriented towards the future than the past. We are also high on the change continuum, with a basic philosophy of “If it ain’t broke, fix it anyway.” We tend to be restless and always seeking newness and change. For this reason we can be challenging to work with. We dont like the status quo. And we sometimes get our asses kicked. Screw ego. So what about being an Edgewalker? Do you want to do that? Then leave your ego at the door.
