A woman on her knees is a woman in need of God. Honor and humility are as inseparable as pride and fall. As the following two verses show, pride releases the wrath of the Lord, and humility releases His favor. “Pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” (Proverbs 16: 18). “A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.” (Proverbs 29: 23). It is indeed a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Lord. I will opt for His mercy anytime.
