A woman walks past a fallen water tanker that turned turtle after it rammed the median road divider along NH 53. Ironically, the driver and his companion got off safe with only minor scratch and bruises while the tanker had its wheels and nuts and bolts fall apart and strewn out of shape all over in the middle of the road. Two failings on the part of the driver come to mind as regards the accident. First it shows that the driver could be drunk and far from being fit to manage such a bulk of a water laden vehicle. Second, from all that has been witnessed of the tanker with its vital parts strewn apart, it must have long been kept out of the road owing to its apparent battered and worn down condition. Finally, and much to the chagrin of the general road planners, it is also to do with the unwanted and asymmetrically erected median divider that helps cause devastating road accidents.
