“A woman who is worth a thousand men”! This was the first thought that popped to my mind as I was reading an article this morning about a young French Muslim woman. This brave Muslimah challenged the ban over full face veil (Niqab) in France. She challenged it in front of the human rights’ European court in Strasbourg. In a country where women are sold cheap and nudity is the trend, this stance from this great woman calls for applause. This is part of the forgotten Jihad which is a duty upon every Muslim. No one can accuse her of terrorism or being extreme. This is the duty of every Muslim lawyer who wants to cleanse his income from dirty money. They should all unite and defend Islam’s cause through their own legislative game. It is about time Muslims stood up for their rights and stopped being bullied. To this sister and her lawyer, I raise my hand. May Allah be with you and make your cause prevail.
