A wonderful art exhibit is opening today in the neighbouring village of Frelighsburg, in Quebecs eastern townships. Its called Where is Three Pines? (Ou Est Three Pines?) and for the past year many of the top local artists have been imagining where the village is, and creating works inspired by the Gamache books. Its so deeply moving and meaningful to me. And the works are wonderful! It goes until Oct 12th, so you can combine a trip to see the fall colours with a visit to the art exhibition, and one of the prettiest towns in the area.
