A wonderful dinner last night in town, it was really warm so ice cold drinks went down a treat. Lasagne, chicken pasta, rice and beetroot salads, coleslaw, roast pork, a hot vegetable dish, and freshly dug new potatoes; finished with muffins, pavlova, cream and pears. A feast to be sure! A special thanks to the volunteers who were out with us for the first time, and to all our regular servers, bakers, suppliers. This wouldnt be happening in such a fine way without you all. Plenty of takeaway items - toiletries and food - given out before our locals wandered off their different ways for the night.
