A word about timestamps. One should always timestamp ones comments, obviously. It is considered a little bit rude, a little bit nitpicky, to point out the lack of a timestamp, however, to anyone with more than a week of experience posting time here on the page. It just isnt done. Its like pointing out an obvious typo, or admonishing your grandmother for passing gas. Unless you have reason to believe that the person does not understand the concept of the timestamp, that the person is extremely new to the page and might need a friendly reminder or two, or that the person is openly flouting regulation and convention, do not point out missing timestamps. Its boorish and unnecessary, in most cases.
