A word from me to the policemen and women and riot squads who are requested to be deployed to Bentley. I sincerely honour and respect the role you play in the community. My brother and many friends have served the force and still do to help support, protect and take part in peaceful and harmonious community life. I believe that supporting and allowing the gas company access to the land for their activities in the norther rivers region, regardless of permits, as a gross stand against support and protection for our community . History shows the potential and inevitable sickening impacts on everything, especially our most precious commodity, water. When farmlands and water are nurtured and respected the community is happy and healthy and this flows out into the cities as well. I pray you can see beyond your assigned jobs to the very core of the rape of the earth these activities leave in their wake and can stand beside our peaceful protection of the land rather than seeing us as a threat to your assigned duties. This land is such a beautiful place and may our love for it unite that it may remain this way for all who come here to savour
