A word to the wise: If you send emails to me that sound like a script copy and pasted from an online marketing course, with all the tips everyone knows to establish rapport and gain adherence (screw you Cialdini), do not be surprised if you never hear back from me. I have a lot more respect for someone who comes straight out and says you should buy this because its awesome or Ill cut to the chase - do you want to take part in my affiliate program rather than making me wade through 500 words of carefully scripted copy and flashy images before pitching something to me (because ah hah! If you read this far, Ive got you now because Im so damn clever!). Im much more interested in WHO Im dealing with than the offer being made. Great offers are a dime a dozen. Great people are much rarer. If you think Im so easy to manipulate that you can sway me with formulaic ad copy (i.e. more than a quick, basic rundown of the benefits your opportunity offers), any semblance of a working relationship is probably never going to leave the ground.
