A worms eye view ! I took a couple of videos of hummingbirds about three inches from underneath the feeder. Here are a few frames that I froze. I can tell that the hummingbirds are starting to gain weight in preparation for their long migration to Mexico and points south. Before they leave most of them will gain up to 70% of their normal body weight which usually is a little over three grams, about a tenth of an ounce, or the weight of a penny ! A ruby-throated hummingbird can fly 500 miles non stop !
