A year ago, I met this super enthusiastic woman named Michelle who told me all about this fabulous workout called Zumba and introduced me to Brickhouse Cardio Club Flower Mound, TX. So.. April 29th 2013, I walked into my first Zumba class that just happened to be with Montserrat. I was already shaking because I was so freaking nervous, then as the room filled up and I clung onto the back wall spot. I met Misty who quickly asked me Are you new?? all I could think was, GEEZ I must stand out. She introduced me to the feisty Instructor and from there.. I was hooked. Not only with the workout, and the amazing environment, but with the new friendships! I went back that same evening and met Lina, who has been a mentor to me and an unbelievable friend to me since day one. I took Christinas Shimmy and Shake class and started to think, See, I can do this. I may look ridiculous, but I can actually do this! Bright and early the next day, I was in that same back wall spot for Glendas Toning class. Then again for Sandras.. for weeks on end. It was becoming an addiction. How I ended up with a Brickhouse of my own, Im not sure.. thats all a big blur. But I am thankful for the Friends & Family (Holly was dragged to SO many classes and events) who fully supported and loved on me during this year of life change! Its funny what can happen in just one year. So tomorrow, I will reflect on that day and the people in it by opening up Brickhouse Cardio Club Frisco, TX in hopes to change someones life the way you ALL changed mine. Thank you, friends.
