A year ago, I was in a car on the way to Treefort Fest in Boise with Berg Radin and two Party Boyz (Elizabeth Elder + Rachel Milbauer) whom I was meeting for the first time. I threw my stuff in the trunk and jumped in the backseat with my iphone recording a live podcast. They were naturals on the mic. We spent the next few days watching shows, making podcasts, and on the ride home they dreamed up a podcast, an empire really, that would promote and celebrate women in music. I knew right there, that they were going to do big things. TONIGHT, Liz (Party Boy 1) + Rachel (Party Boy 2) present the debut of Sallie Fords new project on a bill featuring some of the most talented women in our community. Come celebrate our ladiez, our Party Boyz, our music, our community, at Mississippi Studios (8p).
