A year ago today I was existing in a self created hell with no hope for the future. A series of events created major changes in my life nearly 7 months ago. I was put somewhere and given enough time to reflect on my life. I was engulfed in fear and anger, but I was exactly where I needed to be at that moment. Today I am happy, healthy, and very grateful. I am grateful for everything from being blessed enough to open my eyes and get another chance at life each day to being able to choose what I will drink with a meal. I am grateful for the unending and unconditional love of Camellia, Lynn, Chyvonne, and Kayla. I am grateful for my Gods amazing grace. I am grateful for the fact that I may not be where I want to be yet, but I am so much better than where I used to be. I am grateful for the ability to be grateful. I am also grateful for Kathi and Doug who were there for me at a very important point in this journey. I guess I could sum it up by saying Im grateful to be living and not just existing anymore. Be happy with what you have and tell people how much they mean to you often!!! I hope everyone has a safe and blessed holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
