A year ago today the car accident happened. I wake up everyday smiling realising how lucky I am to have a life, legs that work and that I can walk. A year ago today began the worst week of my life, it was like a never-ending nightmare. I appreciate life so much more now, it made me realise how short life can be. Its scary but the reality is your life can change in an instant for the good or bad. I broke my L3 vertebrae lumbar spine, Which meant I had to lay flat on my back, not knowing if and when I would be able to walk again, the thought of the rest of my life in a wheelchair terrified me. I wish I could say a massive Thankyou to the woman who held my hand while I was on the floor waiting for the ambulance to arrive, she looked after me and calmed me down. A massive Thankyou to my wonderful family especially my mum for being by my side as much as she could, I love you. ❤️ Just a year later on, I have over come all nerves of driving and I now drive my own car, my back has healed, I own my own mobile beauty business, I ran 5k for race for life, I cant wait to achieve even more, this is only the beginning. Its also been a year with Sam Shaw today ❤️❤️ Im such a lucky girl to have you in my life, I love you so much
