A year ago today was the last time I was to see my mother alive. She had been in and out of hospitals, struggling to breathe, unafraid of death, peaceful, almost joyful, and affectionate as always, but slowly letting go. When I kissed her and hugged her, she said I love you. Ill see you in the morning. I saw her after she died the next morning, but I believe she meant shell see me in that great, bright Morning that she always knew existed for her, and for me at another time. I love you, Mom. I look forward to that Morning with you after I do a few more things here on earth. (Shed like this music.)
