A young mom from Quispamsis is desperate to get her lost phone back. It contains precious pictures, “tons of pictures”, of her two little children and notes on the milestones in their young lives. Ainslie Walker was in Saint Andrews on Monday, July 8, for a quick bite of lunch before a family visit to the aquarium. Her mother was visiting from Cape Breton and they had decided to make the trip to Saint Andrews to sightsee. Walker said she parked about a block up from the Olde Thyme Pizza where they were headed for lunch between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and thinks her phone must have fallen out when she got out of the car. The phone is a black Samsung Galaxy 1, an older model she said. Service to the phone has already been suspended. Lila, her daughter is 10 months old. The phone contains pictures of her at various stages of development and notes on when she got her first tooth, first sat up, first crawled, her various weights and heights recorded at the doctor’s office for regular checkups monitoring her growth. The phone also contains pictures of Forrest, Walker’s two-and-a-half-year old son, from the time he was about a year old. Walker said when the phone is turned on, it needs a pass code to access its features. The screen saver is readily visible though and shows her, a dark haired woman in a black sweater next to a baby in a pink hat. The baby, at eight months, is sitting on a park swing. “The phone has great sentimental value for the pictures,” said Walker. “I really want the pictures back and the milestones. I know I should have backed it all up, but chalk it up to one of those busy mom moments.” Anyone who has found Walker’s found is asked to contact her at her home phone number in Quispamsis of 506-847- 5331.
