A young mother who couldn’t afford a car seat for her daughter was given a helping hand instead of a ticket when she was stopped by a public safety officer in Michigan. Officer Ben Hall noticed the little girl — who was wearing a seat belt — was not in a child safety seat when he pulled a vehicle over for a traffic violation. Rather than give the mother a ticket, Officer Hall had her pull into a Wal-Mart parking lot, where he went inside a bought a car seat to keep the girl safe in.
