A young woman in Bangalore gets stalked in 2009. Three key wings - TopicsExpress

A young woman in Bangalore gets stalked in 2009. Three key wings of the Gujarat Police undertook the task of stalking the woman. The stalking operation here included surveillance and phone-tapping. The orders for stalking came directly from the then-Gujarat Home Minister Amit Shah. Amit Shah was allegedly doing it for his “Saheb” who was interested in knowing the moves of this woman. All of this has been revealed in a Cobrapost report. There is a twist in the tale as well. The girls father has also given a statement that he had asked Modi, with whom he had family relations, for security for his daughter. Interesting. Perhaps this is a plot against Modi to check his growing fan base. This can be an accurate report as well. But whatever it is, using state machinery” for personal purposesis certainly nothing to boast about - it needs to be roundly criticized. Giving the excuse that the girls father had asked Modi to do it is again infantile. The BJP needs to be much smarter than that - Digvijaya Singh is having the time of his life on Twitter over this, and much as we hate to say it, hes right this time. The BJP needs to answer this one. And if it’s a plot against them, let them strip the conspirators naked. Lies need to be proved, but truth is itself a testimonial.
