AAR Approx 0200 Being engaged by accurate fire from a small OpFor under cover of pitch black canopy. Weapon goes down and forced to crawl face in the mud through dirt, muck and tall grass with nothing but night vision in hand and comms coordination with friendly vehicle to distract OpFor with noise and blinding light to force them back to the cover of foliage. Friendly forces directing movement with night optics and laser targeting to the objective location while seemingly invisible OpFor creep just feet away. And the dash with the objective back to the vehicle with the head lights showing the path. All of this equates to minutes of pulse pounding stress and paranoia of being killed or captured that seems like hours. The Deep Woods never forgives and creates experiences no one can ever forget. I couldnt ever ask for a better of group of guys to make these MilSim memories with.
