AAS website photo essay - Food of the Water by Daniela Vavrova Dear members, The first visual feature on the new AAS website is now available. Maraymin Amung, ‘Food of the Water’, by Daniela Vavrova is a photo essay accompanied by an audio track recorded during fieldwork in Papua New Guinea. See the visual feature here: aas.asn.au/visual-feature/ We invite submissions to the Visual Feature page on the AAS website. To make a submission you must be an AAS member and preferably engaged in visual anthropology, or ethnomusicology-related research. Photo essays should consist of no more than fifteen individual photos and should form a cohesive whole. Video or audio segments should be no more than fifteen minutes in length.
