BJP, always brilliant in Opposition ( One needs to see if they Govern brilliantly) , would have torn MMS to shreds. “ Exhibition of Pussilanimity. Spineless. Incapable of standing up. Pandering to communal agenda. Totally immune to sentiments of Bharat. How can Terror and Talks go together? How can you so much as shake your hands with some one who hails from the land of 26/11 perpetrators?” And the works. MMS would have quietly withdrawn the Invite after setting out a balloon to guage Public Mood a.k.a BJP response. Now, what has happened? The campaigner Modi who taunted MMS for his ‘biryani meeting’ invites Shariff for his swearing on. Meets him for over 50 minutes, beyond the scheduled time. Quietly lets out that ‘talks at foreign secretary level would be resumed” ( which thanks to BJP MMS called off). Then, it is now revealed that “ Three days before the official invite to Shariff from NaMo, Modi had called Shariff and Shariff had accepted the invite immediately and promised to ‘prepare Pakis’ for three days before be formally accepted and agreed) Brilliant. Yes, Modi can govern. Or at least, it is wonderful start to expectations of Hope. Modi the campaigner has ‘turned the corner’, they say. He talks of Inclusive India, taking all of 125 crores along, meets MMS on the day he takes office formally, meets SAARC heads of State, offers Bangladesh Teesta Accord ( watch out Mamta, you can keep wagging your tail as you did to MMS, but India under Modi is of different hue), stamps his authority on Cabinet formation, appoints Najma Heptullah for Ministry of Minority Affairs, the works. The so called ‘secular log’ suddenly see a ‘different Modi’ who is far from the maddening RSS and Sangh Parivar. Modi invites Rajapakse and ignores all the ‘protests’ . he goes ahead with his meetings amidst the ‘mild noise and cacophony’ not from the ‘secular log’ ( Modi baiters cannot imagine such a solid and ‘promising start’ by Modi, they thought he would flex his 56 inch chest and play the Big Brother and bully). They now do not know whom to oppose? What would they do for bread and butter? Probably occupy Chairs to write dissertations on How Modi has transformed? Excuse me folks. You have ‘changed’. Or you did not see Modi as ‘he was, always was and always will be’. A nationalist bowing to ‘supreme national interests’. Yes, he called himself a ‘Hindu nationalist’. That was because he was not ashamed to call himself a Hindu. No more. No Less. Garv se kaho Hum Hindu hain.Now, as PM Modi does not need to wear it on his sleeves. Electioneering was putting across to the spectrum to deal ‘Bharat Mukht Congress’. For that you needed all shades of opinion and language. He put it across the length and breath of India. These ‘secular log’ bought into it. The ‘other side’ took him on. Making it a contest For or Against Modi, as he wanted it. Totally succumbed and led to the Modi as the most power PM with a majority of his own after 1984. What did they believe? That Modi would continue campaigning and ‘fix’ the ‘log’ that they assume Sangh Parivar ‘hates’. Sorry folks, You got it all wrong. The Election show is over. Please remove your prism and sun glasses and view India as PM Modi is now leading. They are yet to call it ‘hypocrisy’. That Modi the campaigner has ‘yielded’ to PM Modi.They say it is ‘strategy’. “Modi has changed”.”He is leaving the Sangh and parivar fold to be his own man’. Ah.Ah. You now say ‘Modi has changed his spots’, which you are unwilling to say. Now, we say, “ This is the Modi’ we saw ever since 13th Sept,2013 and now also see. Removed of Election rhetoric he is a simple patriotic Bharathiya, whos is presiding as we said he would. You said only 31% India has voted him. As if the rest of them got more than 50% individually. In this First Past the post system, there is no other way. We said he would get 300 plus and he did. Now what/ Modi has prepared the ground for India to accept the Line of Actual Control as possibly the Border with Pakistan. Sharif told IK Gujral, “ Kabhi Hum Kashmir le nahi sakthe. Aur aap bi Dey nahi sakthe. Phir Kyon eh jagada’.( You would never yield Kashmir and we can never grab it. Then why this fuss?). The ‘mood’ in India is ready for this change over. Vajpayee/Musharaff almost reached this conclusion/culmination. If any party, Government can convince India on ‘kyon this jaguda’, it is this Modi Government. Cong dare not oppose that ‘BJP was pandering’ or ‘not standing up’. Cong would lose Muslim votes, whatever little they have. Omar & Co would be happy as well as the kashmiris will understand.
