ABANDONED IN THE CENTRE OF TOWN AND NONE OF THE AUTHORITIES CARED! AT LEAST THERE ARE SOME CIVILIANS OUT THERE WHO STILL CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS!! 13/8/14 This beautiful female Husky, (8 months approximately) was tied on a tree of a mans house close to Social Insurance Office. The sensitive man, put some water and food to the poor husky, and he was going to wait until next day to see if the owner was coming back to get her. 14/8/14 When the man checked in the morning this girl was still waiting there, noone came to take her home. The man and the Social Insurance Office called us to ask us what they should do. We told them that they should call the Police and Paphos Municipality and so they did. Both authorities went there, they saw the dog, and left her there. The worried citizen called our clinic to see if we knew what happened with the dog. We called one man from the municipality office, and he said, he went back there, took the dog, and has just abandoned her few minutes ago in our shelter. He tied her on a tree in the entrance and left. On the one hand this man was sensitive enough to go back second time and not leave her there, on the other hand is this a responsible act on behalf of the Municipality? Or from a civilian for that matter? Just abandon a dog at the gates? Because is not the first case.. We wont go any further on what should be done and what shouldnt but our society really lacks of some responsibility! Saddly, are the animals the ones that pay the price!
