ABC News just reported how in Suffolk County NY, Schools are having meetings with parents regarding the Common Core Standards program. I feel the same way with my 4th grader. Vocabulary words and tests that are not at her maturity level and just moving quickly with new material is what I feel is making it difficult for her at times to be successful! At this point they should feel confident in their learning not defeated!
