ABERFELDY THEFTS Officers in Aberfeldy are investigating break-ins to two vans and a garage where high value power tools were stolen. A Citroen Relay van parked in Rannoch Road was targeted sometime between 8pm on Sunday 19 January and 8am on Monday 20 January. Thieves made off with a Paslode nail gun, a Bosch hammer drill, a Hitachi drill, a Makita 240volt circular saw, a Hitachi DS drill and a pack of drill bits. Elsewhere in the village, a Vauxhall Astra van parked in Farragon Drive was broken into sometime between 8pm on Sunday 19 January and 7am on Monday 20 January. A Paslode framing gun, a Hitachi finishing nail gun, a Bosch chop saw, a Bosch laser level, a Makita 18v battery gun, a Makita plasterboard screw gun, a circular saw and an angle grinder were stolen. A garage in Lawers Place in Aberfeldy was also entered sometime between 3pm on 17 January and 10am on 20 January. A Dewalt SDS 240 cordless drill was stolen. Anyone who knows where any of the stolen tools are now, or anyone who remembers seeing anyone acting suspiciously in the village should get in touch with Police Scotland Tayside Division on 101 or speak to any police officer. Information can also be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
