ABIA HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY: Peace is one vital factor that enhances progress to de benefit of the pple. The present Abia House of Assembly appears like identical twin brothers whose aims, objectives, focus, determination and understanding seem to be working in pari pasu. The peaceful working relationship b/w the Executive, the Legislature and the Judiciary in the state has enabled the Exec arm to enjoy uninhibited developmental strides. The(little?) the govt were able to achieve is based on existing harmonious House. The Legis gives the approval by way of budget appropriation for the Exec to execute, carry out. We have nothing to achieve or gain having a House that is fighting wt the Exec arm. The peaceful atmosphere is achieved not bcos of the leadership of the House alone, but a collective understanding of de entire House. B/4 u condemn my thinking, draw comparative analysis of what is obtainable 4rm other states operating under rancour and crisis. They tend to spend more time and scarce resources to reconcile the two arms. Pls, push on the Govt to give us more democratic dividends in places like Aba and Ohafia, though its pretty difficult for pple to believe u are doing something until u are no more there. Congrats the erudite Honourables.
