Three months’ worth of rain fell on the region in three days said to be the cause of the major flood and it was the worst incident recorded since 120 years back then. The devastating effects of this major flood is equal to 3 years of the war, with the only difference it caused few casualties compared to the war , which claimed more than 100,000 lives, some report says. ABIM leadership met the Bosnian Ambassador to Malaysia, H.E Mr Tarik Bukvic to offer condolences to the victims and urge Malaysians to pray that the search and rescue mission will be running smoothly and more lives could be saved.
