ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION – IS WHAT WE REALLY THINK IT IS? HAVE YOU REALLY READ THE WORD OF GOD LEAD BY GOD’S HOLY SPIRIT? Are we Christian people really waiting for Israel to build its third temple? Is this actually something that is important to us? OR HAVE WE BEEN POSSIBLY MISLED? There are Christian people all over the world who are watching Israel very closely. They are waiting in anticipation for Israel to start construction of their third temple. They feel that Israel has to build the third temple first, so the so called anti-Christ can then appear to the world. Let us take a really close look, and do a full investigation into just how important or NOT important the building of the third temple in Jerusalem is to us born again believers in CHRIST. I am going to start this article with a very short & brief history of the Jewish people worshiping GOD. GOD gave Moses instructions on exactly how to build the Tabernacle, and for everything else that would go inside of it in chapter after chapter in the book of Exodus. The Tabernacle was finally finished in Exodus 40:1 Exodus 40:34-36 (King James Version)-“Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:” The next building the Jewish people built to pray and worship GOD would be Solomons temple. Solomons Temple, also known as the First Temple, was the temple in Jerusalem, on the Temple Mount (also known as Mount Zion), before its destruction by Nebuchadnezzar II after the Siege of Jerusalem of 587 BCE. Solomon starts the temple here → 1 Kings 6 Solomon Builds the Temple 1 Kings 6:1 (King James Version)-“ And it came to pass in the four hundred and eightieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomons reign over Israel, in the month Zif, which is the second month, that he began to build the house of the Lord.” And the temple is finished when we read 1st Kings 9 → 1 Kings 9 The Lord’s Response to Solomon 1 Kings 9:1-3 (King James Version)- “And it came to pass, when Solomon had finished the building of the house of the Lord, and the kings house, and all Solomons desire which he was pleased to do, That the Lord appeared to Solomon the second time, as he had appeared unto him at Gibeon. And the Lord said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.” The next building that the Jewish people built to pray and worship GOD would be the second temple. This temple was started at the end of the 70 years of the Jewish people being exiled to Babylon. Here is a very brief description of the second temple built by the Jews. The Second Temple stood between 516 BCE and 70 AD, during which time it was the center of Jewish sacrificial worship. It was the second temple in Jerusalem, built to replace the First Templeexiled to Babylon. which was destroyed in 586 - 587 BCE. The second temple was started here → The People Begin to Rebuild the Temple Ezra 3:7-8 (King James Version)- “They gave money also unto the masons, and to the carpenters; and meat, and drink, and oil, unto them of Zidon, and to them of Tyre, to bring cedar trees from Lebanon to the sea of Joppa, according to the grant that they had of Cyrus king of Persia. Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the Lord.” The second temple was not even remotely as glorious as Solomons temple → Ezra 3:10-13 (King James Version)-“And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the Lord, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the Lord, after the ordinance of David king of Israel. And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the Lord; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the first house, when the foundation of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy: So that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people: for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off.” And the second temple was finished here → Ezra 6:14-15 (King James Version)-“ And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia. And this house was finished on the third day of the month Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of Darius the king.” Approximately 35 years after JESUS was crucified and resurrected to life again by GOD, the second temple was destroyed by a Roman army led my Titus. Here is a very brief description of what happened to the second temple. The Siege of Jerusalem in the year 70 AD was a decisive event in the First Jewish-Roman War. It was followed by the fall of Masada in 73AD. The Roman army, led by the future Emperor Titus, with Tiberius Julius Alexander as his second-in-command, besieged and conquered the city of Jerusalem, which had been occupied by its Jewish defenders in 66 AD. The city and its famous Second Temple were destroyed in 70 AD. From the destruction of the second temple in 70 AD to tonight’s date of 06-25-2014, many in the world are waiting anxiously for Israel to build its third temple. NOW LET US BEGIN. OK now lets take a good look at some bible scriptures and we will go into great detail on the very topic of ---------->>> JUST HOW IMPORTANT IS ISRAELS BUILDING OF A THIRD TEMPLE TO US!!! Here is a short definition of the proposed building of the third temple → The Third Temple, also known as Ezekiels Temple, is a religious notion and desire in JudaismHebrew Bible and expressed in many of Judaisms prayers for the return and rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem that had once stood as the First and Second Temples that were destroyed by the ancient Babylonians and the Romans. Since the destruction of the Second Temple in AD 70, religious Jews have expressed their desire to see the building of a Third Temple on the Temple Mount. Prayer for this is a formal part of the Jewish tradition of thrice daily Jewish prayer services. Though it remains unbuilt, the notion of and desire for a Third Temple is sacred in Judaism, particularly Orthodox Judaism, as an unrealized place of worship. The prophets in the Tanakh called for its construction, to be fulfilled in the Messianic era. Many Christian people in the world insist that the third temple must be built so the Anti-Christ could then appear to the world. They use some of the following bible scripture as so called evidence of this. Daniel 9:27 (King James Version)-“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 11:31 (King James Version)-“ And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.” Daniel 12:11 (King James Version)-“And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.” Matthew 24:15 (King James Version)-“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:).” ***What is inferred is that the reader should look for a much DEEPER MEANING than the letter!!!*** Now here are some very important questions that we are going to attempt to answer using bible scriptures only. Before we start, here is a list of these important questions-> 1). Is a Jewish temple holy? 2). Would GOD live in a Jewish temple? 3). Does GOD live in a building made by men? & Where does GOD live now? 4). Does GOD want animal sacrifices anymore? 5). What does JESUS mean in Mathew chapter 24 – (Standing in the holy place) & Where is this holy place that JESUS is talking about? 6). What is the new testament burnt offerings or sacrifices that Daniel mentions will be stopped? JESUS says in Mathew 24:15 that the abomination of desolation is standing in the holy place. So here is question number one. 1). Is a Jewish temple holy? *Now let’s make something clear. We are not talking about a Messianic Temple where Jews who have been called by JESUS, and have repented their sins worship JESUS throughout the world. What we are talking about here is a proposed 3rd temple being built by the government of Israel which would then proceed to install Old Testament sacrifices of animals and possibly other parts of the Law! We know that only the sacrifice of JESUS, the sinless, spotless LAMB of GOD makes us right with GOD. The Jews who have rejected JESUS are still living apart from GOD because they have rejected HIS SON JESUS whom GOD sacrificed on the cross. Because they have rejected the free gift of GOD, which is his own son, they are living in a separation from GOD. Their sins are not forgiven of them because we know only JESUS can forgive sins. Since they reject JESUS, they still live with all of their sins ruling their lives. This brings separation from GOD. A Jewish temple CANNOT be holy because they have rejected the CHRIST, GODS only begotten son JESUS. JESUS and the belief in JESUS and what he did on the cross for our sins, is what is making us holy and bringing us slowly into righteousness. The Jewish people do not have CHRIST living in their hearts, so they are not being brought into holiness and righteousness. Therefore, a Jewish temple could not be holy because they have rejected the one who makes us holy = JESUS. If they are not worshiping JESUS, they are actually worshiping satan. Look what JESUS says → Luke 11:23 (King James Version)-“He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.” *So we see from above, any Jewish temple that is NOT worshiping JESUS, is actually opposing him. And who is the leader of the opposition? Satan is! A Jewish temple is actually a synagogue of satan because they have rejected the CHRIST who could set them free and make them right with GOD. For some of you who still have doubts about whether a Jewish temple can be holy or not, please look at this bible scripture. JESUS said –John 14:6 (King James Version)-“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” *So we can see that JESUS and only JESUS makes us right with the FATHER. Most of you reading this have studied what happened during World War 2. Remember how the Jews were hunted down all over Russia, German, Poland and other parts of Europe? Then they were put into Nazi concentration camps where they were treated EXTREMELY badly. This is extremely reminiscent of what happened to the Jews in the Old testament with Assyria and Babylon. It is only JESUS and the sacrifice HE did for us on the cross that makes us right with GOD. NO PEOPLE A JEWISH TEMPLE “CANNOT” BE HOLY!!! So when we see Daniel and JESUS speaking up above about the (Abomination of Desolation standing in the holy place), Obviously it CANNOT be speaking about a Jewish temple because a Jewish temple is NOT holy. Here is question number two. 2). Would GOD live in a Jewish Temple? *Well we have to ask ourselves a question. Would GOD live in any temple of the world where the people have clearly and aggressively rejected HIS SON JESUS the Messiah? OF COURSE NOT!!! Would GOD live in a temple dedicated to Buddha? OF COURSE NOT. Would GOD live in a temple dedicated to the Church of Scientology? OF COURSE NOT. Would GOD live in a temple where the people are worshiping other foreign gods? OF COURSE NOT. GOD is holy and the only thing that makes us right with GOD, standing in a good and righteous relationship with GOD is the sacrifice of his son JESUS on the cross. Look at this scripture → Romans 3:24-26 (King James Version)-“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” As we can see, the Jewish people who have rejected JESUS are NOT right with GOD, and GOD would never live in their temple. Since GOD is NOT in their temple, satan will be glad to enter and it becomes a Synagogue of satan. For those of you who are still having a hard time believing GOD would never step foot in a Jewish Synagogue or temple, please take a look at this scripture → Jesus Grieves over Jerusalem Matthew 23:37-39 (King James Version)-“ O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! BEHOLD, YOUR HOUSE IS LEFT UNTO YOU DESOLATE. FOR I SAY UNTO YOU, YE SHALL NOT SEE ME HENCEFORTH, TILL YE SHALL SAY, BLESSED IS HE THAT COMETH IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.” “DESOLATE” here means deserted by God NO PEOPLE, THEIR HOUSE IS DESOLATE UNTIL THEY CAN SAY BLESSED IS THE ONE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD! Here is question number three. 3). Does GOD live in buildings made by man? *Lets take a look at a few different Holy Scriptures to find out if GOD still lives in buildings made by men. Acts 17:24 (King James Version)-“God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, DWELLETH NOT IN TEMPLES MADE WITH HANDS;” There it is!! GOD makes it very clear in Acts 17:24 that he does NOT live in temples made with hands anymore. Will GOD live in buildings made by man? Hmmmm!!! Acts 7:48 (King James Version)-“HOWBEIT THE MOST HIGH DWELLETH NOT IN TEMPLES MADE WITH HANDS; as saith the prophet, *THERE IT IS AGAIN! GOD does NOT live in temples made by human hands any longer since HIS SON JESUS died on the cross................ When the veil rent in the temple, God left their Holy of Holies never to return to any physical temple. The veil was rent in two when JESUS died on the cross. Here is another scripture → 2 Corinthians 6:16 (King James Version)-“And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Did you notice above GOD speaking through Paul makes it clear that we are the temple of the living GOD and that GOD will live in us? Oh praise GOD!! AND Luke 20:17 (King James Version)-“And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?” *JESUS is the stone that the people rejected, now he is the cornerstone to GODS HOLY spiritual temple that GOD lives in. A Temple for the Lord Ephesians 2:19-22 (King James Version)-“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF GOD; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth UNTO A HOLY TEMPLE IN THE LORD: IN WHOM YE ALSO ARE BUILDED TOGETHER FOR AN HABITATION OF GOD THROUGH THE SPIRIT.” Did you notice in verse 21 that GOD is carefully joining us together in this temple and we are slowly being built into a holy temple for the LORD? AMEN!!!! AND 1 Peter 2:5 (King James Version)-“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” *GOD now lives in a spiritual temple, HE does NOT live in temples made by human hands any longer. And you are one of the living stones to GODS new spiritual temple. Isn’t that just wonderful? AND Hebrews 3:6 (King James Version)-“But Christ as a son over his own house; WHOSE HOUSE ARE WE, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.” We ARE GODS house, we ARE GODS holy temple! AND 1 Corinthians 3:16-18 (King James Version)-“Know ye not that YE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD, and that THE SPIRIT OF GOD DWELLETH IN YOU?If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.” Did you notice that GOD once again speaking through Paul states that WE ARE THAT TEMPLE! We are told that the Jews will rebuild the temple and re-institute the sacrifice, and that the antichrist in this temple will be the abomination that makes it desolate. Pure apostasy! God is not going to make a third covenant with the Jews through a temple and sacrifices because the New Covenant is “eternal” (Heb.13:20), (and their Old Covenant was done away). (2Cor.3:14) But their minds (talking about the Jews) were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. No people, GOD does NOT live in temples made by human hands any longer. You and I are living stones being used to create GODS new holy spiritual temple. And CHRIST is the cornerstone. Here is question number 4. 4). Does GOD accept animal sacrifices any longer? *Once again, this is a great question. Lets use bible scriptures only to answer this important question. After all, one of the main reasons Israel would build a 3rd temple, would be to install animal sacrifices again like in the Old Testament under the Old Law! First, here are a few Old Testament scriptures where GOD talks about the animal sacrifices. Yes we are living in the New Covenant now, and I am going to show you what GOD says in the New Covenant about sacrifices, but first lets be patient and go to the Old Covenant for a second and look at a few wonderful comments GOD makes about their sacrifices. Hosea 6:6 (King James Version)-“For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.” *So we can clearly see that GOD loves us, and he wants us to love him and know him much more so than us offering sacrifices. AND Malachi 1:10 (King James Version)-“Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the Lord of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand” *GOD says above that he wishes one of us would close the temple doors to these worthless sacrifices. GOD wants our hearts, our souls, our minds focused on him, this is what is most pleasing to GOD. One last scripture from the Old Testament explains to us exactly what GOD wants. READ THIS SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY! Micah 6:6-8 (King James Version)- “Wherewith shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God? *As you can see, what GOD was REALLY looking for from the Jews of the Old Covenant, was for them to love mercy, to do all that is right and to walk humbly before GOD. But yet we are in the NEW COVENANT now. Let’s look at the New Covenant and find out what GOD says about sacrifices. Remember, the question is → DOES GOD ACCEPT ANIMAL SACRIFICES ANY LONGER? LOOK AT WHAT JESUS SAYS → Hebrews 10:5-10 (King James Version)-“Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest NOT, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had NO PLEASURE. Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest NOT, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. HE TAKETH AWAY THE FIRST, THAT HE MAY ESTABLISH THE SECOND. BY THE WHICH WILL WE ARE SANCTIFIED THROUGH THE OFFERING OF THE BODY OF JESUS CHRIST ONCE FOR ALL.” WE CAN CLEARLY SEE ABOVE JESUS SAYS THAT HIS FATHER DID NOT WANT ANIMAL SACRIFICES OR SIN OFFERINGS ANYMORE. *JESUS goes on to say that GOD did not want sin offerings or any other offerings for sin. In verse 9 it says that JESUS cancels the first covenant in order to put the second covenant in effect. Verse 10 states that GODS will is for us to be made HOLY by the sacrifice of the BODY OF JESUS CHRIST, ONCE FOR ALL TIME. Did you get that brothers and sisters? GOD does NOT accept any animal or burnt offering or sin offerings for sin ANY LONGER. GOD ONLY ACCEPTS THE SACRIFICE HIS SON DID ON THE CROSS ONCE AND FOR ALL TIME. Here is some more proof to help you believe → Matthew 9:13 (King James Version)-“But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and NOT SACRIFICE: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.” AND 1 John 2:1-2 (King James Version)- “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: AND HE IS THE PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS: AND NOT FOR OURS ONLY, BUT ALSO FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD.” *GOD speaking through John says that JESUS himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins. So we are clearly learning that GOD would never, ever, EVER accept animal sacrifices or any other sacrifice for our sins any longer since HIS SON JESUS died on the cross for our sins. Here is another one → John 10:11 (King James Version)- “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” *JESUS sacrificed his own life for our sins. We are the LORDS sheep!!! This was done once and for all time. No other sacrifice but what JESUS did on the cross will ever be needed for our sins. AND Hebrews 10:17-18 (King James Version)-“And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.Now where remission of these is, THERE IS NO MORE OFFERING FOR SIN. Did you notice above, that there is NO NEED TO OFFER ANY MORE SACRIFICES? In conclusion, GOD has made it clear using bible scriptures only, that HE WILL NOT accept any more animal sacrifices, burnt offerings or any other sin offerings than the PRECIOUS BLOOD OF HIS SON JESUS CHRIST and his death on the cross. Here is question number 5. 5). What does JESUS mean in Mathew chapter 24:15 when he says – (Standing in the holy place)? *We have learned up above that NO Jewish temple could ever be holy, and we have also learned that GOD does NOT live in buildings or temples made by human hands any longer! SO WHERE ON EARTH IS THE HOLY PLACE THAT JESUS AND Daniel are talking about? If no building is holy, no temple is holy, in fact in all of the earth NOTHING made by man is holy, where does this abomination that makes desolation stand??? Once again, lets look at Holy Bible Scriptures only, to find out where this holy place is!!! GOD says through Peter here → 1 Peter 2:5 (King James Version)-“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” Wow! We are GODS holy temple, we are the holy place that GOD lives in. Here is more → Hebrews 10:14 (King James Version)-“For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” *By the sacrifice of JESUS, GOD is slowly bringing us into holiness and we are being made holy by the blood on the cross. A born again believe in JESUS CHRIST is the only holy temple on earth. As we learned above, we are the spiritual temple of GOD. We are the new house that GOD lives in and we are being made holy by the blood sacrifice of JESUS CHRIST! Let’s look at a few more scriptures to make this point clear! Romans 1:7 (King James Version)-“To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. We are GODS holy people. Here is another one → Romans 6:19 (King James Version)-“I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants TO RIGHTEOUSNESS UNTO HOLINESS.” We are becoming holy as we live in righteousness and JESUS is our righteousness. AND 1 Corinthians 1:2 (King James Version)-“Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:” And here is one last scripture to prove once and for all that WE CHRISTIAN people are the only thing that is holy here on earth! Or I should say, we are the only holy building, holy temple here on earth that GOD lives in. 1 Corinthians 3:17 (King James Version)- “If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” We are GODS HOLY TEMPLE. This is awesome! I could type in here scripture after scripture after scripture to show we are the holy temple GOD lives in. Now back to the original question → JESUS said in Mathew 24:15 – Matthew 24:15 (King James Version)-“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, STAND IN THE HOLY PLACE, (whoso readeth, let him understand:).” That sacrilegious object will be standing inside of SOME OF US. We are the HOLY BUILDING. We are GODS temple. The Christian people who take the Mark of the Beast will become desolated. That means that GOD will leave them for good and NO longer live inside of them. *So when JESUS says standing in the holy place, he is talking about an abomination standing inside of a born again believers heart, inside of their soul, inside of their bodies but especially standing inside of their spirit that was once holy......... They become desolated and are lost for eternity with no chance to repent! GOD has left the Christian people who have taken the Mark of the Beast and now pure evil stands inside of their spirits where once GOD and CHRIST stood with their spirits. If you take a good look at a model/diagram of Solomons temple, take a look at the outer court first, then the inner court, then the inner building the holy of holies. The outer court of the temple symbolizes a believers body. The inner court symbolizes our soul. The holy of holies symbolizes our spirit. The Christian people who take the Mark of the Beast will have the satan living in their spirit now and they are desolated. GOD has left them completely never to return!!! When apostate Christians take the Mark of the Beast in the middle of the Tribulation, in order to save their lives, they will lose their lives and become desolate Here is the last question. 6). What is the new testament burnt offerings or sacrifices that will be taken away? GOD says in Daniel 9:27, Daniel 11:31 and Daniel 12:11 that the burn offerings and sacrifices will be taken away. WOW HAS THIS CONFUSED CHRISTIAN PEOPLE WORLD WIDE. Since Daniel mentions burnt offerings, Christian people have assumed that Israel MUST build their 3rd temple. Their log goes like this. How can there be burn offerings if there is not a temple built in Israel? Assuming is a big problem when it comes to GODS word. We have already learned that a Jewish temple is a synagogue of satan. We also learned that GOD does NOT accept animal sacrifices, burnt offerings or sin offerings any longer. So what is Daniel talking about exactly in those 3 verses. Let us look to scriptures and find out!!!! What are our New Testament New Covenant burnt offerings and sacrifices that we give to GOD daily? Here is one example → AND THEY ARE ALL SPIRITUAL 1 Peter 2:5 (King James Version)-“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, TO OFFER UP SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES, ACCEPTABLE TO GOD BY JESUS CHRIST.” AND Hebrews 13:15 (King James Version)-“By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.” AND There are 3 really good examples of our spiritual sacrifices that we give to GOD hopefully every day of our lives. These are a few examples of what Daniel says will be taken away from those Christian people who take the Mark of the Beast. Our New Testament “continual burnt-offering” is to devote our bodies to serve God in accordance with His Word rather than self. Romans 12:1 (King James Version)-“ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” The burning up of the fleshly wood, hay, and stubble of our old life in the fiery trials is the acceptable sacrifice. It will take a return to the true Gospel in the apostolic latter rain ministries for most of the Church to have a sacrifice acceptable to God. In Revelation 12:6,14 we see the Church as the Woman being protected and educated for the first half of the seven years. Then the beast, in the “midst of the week” (seven years), begins to make war on the saints (Rev.13:5-7) because they would not take the mark of the beast, which for them would be an “abomination that maketh desolate.” Many have assumed that this covenant is with the Jews and since they are not sacrificing at all now, then they must have started to sacrifice at the beginning of the week so they could cease in the middle. Assuming is a big problem when it comes to God’s Word. Since the time of Jesus there has been a “continual burnt-offering” in the midst of God’s new temple, the Church. God loves the smell of burning flesh. We are partakers of Christ’s sufferings when we obediently go through the fiery trial and the flesh burns up, leaving only the glory of Christ. We must sacrifice the works of the flesh in order to be holy and useful to God in the works of the Spirit. 1 Peter 4:12-13 (King James Version)- “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christs sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.” Just as Christ sacrificed self, the body of Christ is expected to also sacrifice self. The Philippians sacrificed their own desires and provisions to meet Paul’s need, which was a sweet smell of burningflesh that was pleasing to God. Philippians 4:18 (King James Version)-“But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.” When apostate Christians take the mark of the beast in the middle of the Tribulation, the sacrifice of the “continual [burnt-offering] shall be taken away,” because they will sacrifice their spiritual man instead of their beastly, carnal man. A strong delusion is that the burning up of our temporal, earthly works of wood, hay, and stubble comes after we go to heaven. This destroys the motivation to be holy here and now. Continually we are to go through the fiery trial, not sparing the flesh, so that only the eternal, heavenly works of gold, silver, and costly stones are left. So what we learned is that we men and women of GOD, those who believe in CHRIST JESUS as their LORD and Savior are (The Holy Place) That Daniel and JESUS are talking about. The burn offerings and sacrifices that are taken away are spiritual now. This happens at the half way point of the 7 year tribulation when the governments of the world will force everyone on earth to take a mark on their right hand or forehead. The Christian people that take the Mark of the Beast on their right hand or forehead will become desolate. GOD will leave them forever with no chance of repenting. These Christian people who take the Mark of the Beast will have their spiritual burnt offerings and sacrifices taken away from them. They will not be able to offer any more spiritual sacrifices to GOD as a pleasing aroma to the LORD because they have become desolate now. Psalm 34:1-2 (King James Version)-“I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.” Hosea 14:2 teaches us to “render [as] bullocks [the offering of] our lips.” This beast covenant especially at the half way point of the seven year tribulation will make proselytizing those of other religions to Christianity illegal. For those who submit, their “continual burntoffering shall be taken away.” Jesus is the “High Priest of our confession” (Heb.3:1), so we must “hold fast our confession” (Heb.4:14) to give Him a sacrifice. Matthew 10:32-33 (King James Version)-“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” To “deny me” is to not “confess me.” (2Tim.2:12) If we shall deny him, he also will deny us. The Greek word here for “confess” is homo-logeo, which means “to speak the same as,” So if we speak what Jesus spoke, we have an acceptable sacrifice!!! When the apostate Christian people of the world take the Mark of the Beast, the following will happen → 1). GOD will leave them forever and they will become desolate. 2). The abomination will now live inside of them – Meaning Satan or satans demons. 3). GOD will use the Mark of the Beast to separate the WHEAT from the tares, or the SHEEP from the goats. 4). There will be left two spiritual temples. ONE HOLY, and one desolate whom GOD has left. 5). The continual burnt offering will be forcefully stopped for those Christian people who take the Mark of the Beast and the Abomination will stand in their hearts and spirits. As I finish up this article with the help of the HOLY GHOST, here is a short reminder of what we talked about. A). A Jewish temple is NOT holy, in fact it is actually a synagogue of satan. B). GOD would never ever live inside of a Jewish temple, because the people have rejected HIS SON JESUS and by doing so, they have open hostility between GOD and themselves. C).We have learned that GOD does NOT live in buildings made by men any longer, and that the only holy building GOD lives in now is a born again believers body! D). GOD does NOT want and will NOT accept animal sacrifices, burnt offerings or sin offerings any longer. That THE CHRIST sacrificed himself once and for all time and no other sacrifice is ever needed again for our sins. E). We learned that the holy place that Daniel and JESUS are talking about is actually us! The holy of holies inside of us is our spirit! At the Mark of the Beast, Christian people who accept the Mark will be come desolate and GOD will leave them forever. Now the abomination will enter into them and they will be temples that are desolated or desolate! F). The burn offerings and sacrifices that will be stopped at the Mark of the Beast is the praise we give GOD day and night in our hearts and souls. It is also described by the way we allow our old sinful nature to be constantly burned up in the fiery trials of life. The Christian people who take the Mark on their right hands or foreheads will become desolate. GOD will leave them forever. They will NOT be able to praise GOD any longer and their burnt offerings (their burning up of their fleshly nature) will be stopped permanently! People of GOD! WE ARE NOT waiting for Israel to build their third temple in Jerusalem. If the Government does build a temple, I am sure it will be on the news circuits worldwide day and night constantly. But if they do NOT build the third temple, either way it is absolutely meaningless to us Christian people who are praising GOD every day for how wonderful he has been to us. We are the temples of GOD, and we are being constructed stone by stone into a huge spiritual temple that GOD lives inside of and is going to marry at the wedding supper of the LAMB. We are the BRIDE OF CHRIST! And GOD and JESUS live inside of each and everyone of us true born again believers in JESUS. We are the HOLY PRIESTS. We are the HOLY TEMPLES. Let us take our eyes off of any news pertaining to a possible third temple being built in Jerusalem and keep them on JESUS and the Holy Bible where they belong. By doing this, we are burning up our flesh in a daily burnt offering that is very pleasing to GOD. No building on earth can replace you my brothers and sisters in CHRIST. JESUS died for us on the cross once and for all time, so now we can raise our holy hands lifted up high free from guilt and shame and enter into our destinies with GOD. You are a Royal Priesthood. You are a Holy Priesthood. YOU ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD!!!! AND NO BUILDING ON EARTH COULD POSSIBLY REPLACE YOU.
