ABOUT BLIZZARD AND FROSTY Blizzard and Frosty are two of the Fairfield cats we took in this Spring. They were all living outside, being fed by a family. Until the neighbor put barbed wire across his yard to keep them out, life seemed ok. Then it became an unsafe neighborhood and something had to be done. We took in 14 cats from this area. Some were feral, but most were very sweet, just a bit shy. They had a relationship with the family that was feeding them, so they had had some socialization. Blizzard, Frosty and brother Comma are all just a year old. They are all now neutered and vaccinated and ready to find out what a real home is all about. Though they have flourished in the shelter, and LOVE playing together, its time they found their forever homes. They are pretty bonded so were hoping someone would like to adopt them together. You wont be sorry, theyre hysterical to watch! And the more outgoing ones have helped the shyer ones feel more comfortable! Animals In Distress is a no-kill Cat Shelter located at 238 Danbury Road.
