ABOUT PROPHETS AND PROPHECIES PART 2. So l came to realise that the church today needs a proper understanding about prophets and prophecies as well. I want you to know that true prophets of God are still there and the bible says by their fruits you shall know them. A true prophet is not seen by the level of accuracy in his predictions neither is he seen by the number of names he mentions in his predictions as many people think today,but he is seen by the level of the fruits that he produces. The public life of a prophet or the way he or she conducts him/herself in the public is not what makes him/her a true prophet. But what a prophet does in the private behind the doors makes him or her a false prophet. Also get this in mind thee are some prophets who just have diferent weaknesses of women.drinking.smoking and etc yet they are really called by God. The bible says the gifts of God are without repentance so sleeping with a married woman or fornication does not make someone a false prophet but it takes away the anointing but the gift remains. So when the gift remains thas when you see that the prophet will be prophesying accurately but things not coming to pass. Praying for the sick but not being healed WHY. BECAUSE the anointing is no longer there. I know many people are already saying what about you man of God are you a true or false prophet. Well that is you to see and for God to judge. Please bear this in mind as we are going through this discussion of prophets.The bible says from the womb Jeremiah l ordained you anointed you to become a voice to the nation. So a prophet is not made but a prophet is born. One does not change his title because he is now leading a church or he feels God is talking to him.dreaming of things that come to pass does not make you a prophet neither praying for something to happen and it happens makes you a prophet.
